Emrich M. Stellar Jr., ChFC, CLU, CBEC

Emrich is the owner of Stellar Advisor a financial services practice located in Bethlehem, PA. For over 25 years Emrich and his team have been helping family business owners and individuals grow and transfer their wealth. Mr. Stellar specializes in the design, implementation, funding, communications and services of complex planning solutions for motivated clients. 

Emrich has extensive experience in finding, developing, and networking the broadest range of solutions for client's problems in the areas of Estate/Tax Planning, Business Owner Planning, Executive Compensation Strategies and Charitable planning solutions. 

Mr. Stellar has been a speaker on the subjects of Estate Planning, Business Succession Planning, Executive Benefits plan design and Nonprofit Funding. Emrich earned his undergraduate degree from East Stroudsburg University and his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr.

Emrich is a past president and Board Member of the Lehigh Valley Society of Financial Services Professionals. He is a member of the Lehigh Valley Estate Planning Council, the Historic Bethlehem Partnership, the Treasurer of the Lehigh County Authority Board, and a former Cub Master of Pack 199. In the 1990's Emrich was publicly elected to two terms on the Lehigh County Board of Commissioner. 

During his financial planning career with CIGNA, and Lincoln/Sagemark, Emrich has qualified for all of the development and production honors including the highest honor of Top of Council. Emrich is a Charter Member of an elite planner group within the Lincoln/Sagemark system known as The Resource Group™. This is a National network of approximately 200 advisors who share the value of collaboration to bring unprecedented capabilities to the marketplace all in an effort to solve client problems. Emrich's top tier practice and network of advisors creates a unique planning source to help clients achieve their highest aspirations.

Glenn A. Graff, ChFC

Glenn joined the Stellar Advisor Group in 2001 after graduating from Kutztown University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Finance. He also obtained the ChFC designation in 2013. He is responsible for the objective evaluation of a client's current financial situation and the technical preparation of the systemic solutions to help meet the client's goals. He also reviews and conducts performance analysis of stocks, mutual funds, bonds, options, privately managed accounts and annuities. He is a securities registered and insurance licensed Para-Planner working closely with Emrich to help ensure the most comprehensive solutions to the complex financial and estate planning circumstances that our clients face.



James R. Steckel CFP®, CRPC®       



Jim Steckel, CFP®, CRPC® joined Stellar Advisor in August of 2016.  Jim is a Certified Financial Planning certificant and also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Planning Counselor.  As such Jim is responsible for client financial plans.  His focus is on new client acquisition, financial plan design and current client plan updates.  Jim has over 16 years experience in the financial services industry. 


Jim's financial planning skills revolve around simplifying the complexities associated with financial, tax and retirement plans.  He is focused on creating plans that put his clients in a position to have more options so they can better navigate the financial stages of life.  By creating clear and actionable plans Jim helps his clients build their net worth while guiding them to hopefully avoid potential pitfalls along the way. 


Jim is active in the community and at his church.  He has a wife and 4 children with several grandchildren.  His family keeps him very busy while not in the office

James McGonigal

James graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2008 has a Bachelor in Business of Science degree specializing in Finance/Economic.  James holds FINRA series 63, 7, securities licenses and Life accident and health insurance. James  works closely with Emrich and Glenn supporting all aspects of the ongoing relationship with our clients. James McGonigal is typically the initial point of contact at Stellar Advisor and supports our business throughout our vast network of clients and service professionals. 

Alex Batista


Alexander has over 25 years of experience as a business and employee benefits consultant. Our services are designed to guide employers through the complexity of planning, compliance, communicating, and managing a successful employee benefits program. As a member of NAHU, NALU and several estate planning councils he is constantly keeping abreast of current tax and economic issues affecting employee benefits and business insurance planning. He has earned a “Fellowship” in advanced business planning from LUTCF, and has been a qualifying member of the MDRT. He is CMS certified in FFM and SHOP enrollment in the healthcare marketplace, as well as Medicare advantage plans.

Our role in benefits consulting has changed with the adaption of health care reform. As an advisor, our responsibility is no longer primarily limited to evaluating and recommending carriers, plan options, and funding strategies. In today’s market, our role begins with ensuring our clients understand the impact of health care reform and formulating a benefits strategy that is in-line with reform, organizational culture, and financial objectives.

Craig Hammer

Craig has over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry originating in 1989 where he spent 5 years as an insurance producer providing risk management solutions to his valued clients with life, disability and property/casualty coverages. In 1994 he joined Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co. as a Regional Manager recruiting and training independent producers as part of the companies Independence Financial Network covering the Mid-Atlantic region. Over the years he earned multiple Regional Manager of the Year awards as he ascended the ranks; first as an Associate Regional Director in 2001 and then promoted again in 2006 to the Regional Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region. The Mid-Atlantic region was a multiple winner of Chairman's Awards which is Penn Mutual's most prestigious honor within the Independence Financial Network Sales Distribution System. In 2008, he formed RHM Partners along with Guy Rossi and Steve Miller in supporting producers and their clients with insurance and financial services needs. Awarded a Masters degree in Sciences of Management/Leadership (MSM) at the American College in 2007 he also holds CLU, LUTCF designations and FINRA series 6,7,24 and 63 licenses. He currently resides in Collegeville, PA along with his wife Patti and son Jimmy.

Guy Rossi

Guy's experience in the life and disability insurance industry began 19 years ago, in 1992 as a Disability Sales Consultant with UNUM Corp in Western New York where he was a member of the UNUM Leaders Circle and a multiple Leaders Club qualifier. In 1995, he joined Penn Mutual's Independent Financial Network as a Regional Manager where his responsibilities included recruiting and training independent insurance agents on the various aspects of life insurance products. Guy held various sales management positions during his career with Penn Mutual and was a repeated Leaders Conference qualifier and award winner. A twelve year member of Society of Financial Services Professionals, Guy holds FINRA series 6, 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses. He has also earned a Bachelors degree in Economics from University of Rochester (Rochester, NY) and an MBA in Corporate Finance from the Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester. Guy resides with his wife Sheila and son, Thomas in Worcester, PA.

Steve Miller


Steve's experience in various facets of the financial services industry spans over 32 years... He spent his first 10 years building a highly successful fee-based financial planning practice working with professionals, executives and small closely held businesses. Steve specialized in designing creative solutions for his clients' complex estate, business and investment planning needs. During his planning career, Steve qualified each year for his company's production honors awards. In his subsequent 22+ years, Steve has been responsible for the strategic direction, growth and profitability of three separate independent and life affiliated broker-dealers and registered investment advisory firms, a financial planning insurance agency, a national annuity distribution system and independent life insurance channel for a mid-size life insurance company. Steve has been a speaker on the subjects of Estate, Business Succession and Investment Planning for various groups. He has earned a LUTC credential in disability income as well as several agency management certificates. In addition, he has served on numerous life insurance and broker-dealer industry committees. He resides with his wife Sandy and 2 children in Doylestown, PA.
